3rd of August 2016: The kick – off meeting for the “Technical Assistance for Gümüşhane Traditional and Organic Products Business Development Center (İŞGEM)” project took place in Ankara, Turkey, signifying the launch of the 20 months project led by PLANET. 

The kick of meeting, hosted at the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of Republic of Turkey was attended by representatives of the Ministry (MoSIT) as the Contracting Authority, Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA) as the End Recipient of the project and PLANET as the Contractor.

The overall objective of the project is to support the institutional set-up of Gümüşhane Business Development Centre (İŞGEM) including the development of a sustainable business plan for its operation, provision of support in the recruitment and capacity building of İŞGEM staff and the provision of support in the identification of tenants and strengthening of their technical capacities via training, mentoring and business development consultancy services.

The project is implemented by an international consortium led by PLANET, with the participation of Prysma, BDO LLP, PLANET Turkey, and MAKRO.
