PLANET S.A., as Consortium member of NIRAS Consortium has been awarded a Framework Contract under LOT 3: Human rights, democracy and peace, with the title “Communicating EU Actions in Syria”, with a total budget of EUR 246,288. The project – lasting for one year – aims to significantly increase the proportion of Syrians receiving information about EU activities in Syria. This will be achieved by supporting the EU Delegation in communicating on EU support to Syria, focusing on activities in a number of specific thematic areas in the Northwest and Northeast (i.e. in non-regime controlled parts of Syria). Ultimately, it will contribute to a better understanding of the EU’s objectives in Syria and enhanced visibility of the European Union and its programmes in Northwest and Northeast Syria. The themes of the first three campaigns are expected to be livelihoods, health and education.
